I was impressed with the quality of items/activities. We really love that we now have a big costume to keep with our dress up clothes!

The large costume / cape was probably the most fun my son (2 years) has had with all of the crates. He understands the concept of a bug, so it was fun for him to run around with the cape. He's a bit young to really understand all the pieces in the magazine. I collect it for myself than anything.

Loved the cape! My daughter loved pretending to be a bug. And I really liked the bug cards. So many ways to sort. I love the koala crate. My 4 yo loves getting the box. I also have an infant so it provides thoughtful activities that come with everything to do them. We can do things together, and there is plenty she can do on her own.

recommended for all young kids!

I love that the crafts you sent were easy enough for my little one to do most of them by herself. She is about to be 4 but what I appreciate is the independence you give her with the crates. It was wonderful. She loved the bug cape the best. When I first subscribed I wasn't sure if I wanted to get the Koala Crate or the Kiwi Crate. My daughter is about to be four in a couple of months. She is pretty advanced for her age tho. I thought she might get board with the Koala crate however I find she does better with it because she is able to do the crafts without a lot of help from me or her father. I post photos each month on my social media of my daughter doing her crafts. I recommend it to anyone who has young children. :)

We loved it!
Review by Heather O.
My two and a half year old could start making this right away with me having to set up or prep for a craft mess. She also seemed to get the project right away- the bug wings made it obvious what we were going to do. Really appreciated the self-stick felt for the little ones!! Made all the difference and she could start using her bug costume right away.

I liked that the bug costume didn't require glue or any other material that would cause a parent to interfere with the childs fun. I liked the balance between art, outside interaction and learning game. My daughter created her bug costume, put it on and explored outside for different kinds of bugs...really fun!

The bug costume has been the highlight for my daughter! The cards are great too, but a little harder to use for her age (3.5). Overall, great package and everything will be used many times in future.

It was the perfect level of difficulty for my daughter (almost 3 years old). She was able to peel the stickers off herself and she stuck them all on the wings. She's been calling herself "SUPERBUG" and running around with her wing cape on. This was a fantastic crate.

a little challenging

I like the mix of fine motor and gross motor activities and games My child especially liked making the bug wings. It's good but a little too challenging for my 3 year old.

creative learning activity
Review by Abra L.
My son LOVED the bug wings and headband. He puts on a specific pair of shoes along with them and calls himself a superhero bug. I also liked the prism- a very nice quality item for discovery. I wasn't quite sure how to use the cards. They were the thing of all our Koala Crate boxes that never really got used. I really like the seek and find activities and ideas for additional play.

We liked the activity making the butterfly wings and antennas. It was nice how the pieces were cut out so all she had to do was stick them on, which was empowering for her.
