I'm searching for DIY gift ideas to make for Grandparents. Ideally something I could make with my 5 year old or that he could make on his own.

Cut up little colored strips of paper and write down 365 things you love about Grandpa & Grandma on the pieces. Fold the pieces up and put them in a mason jar. Don't forget a label on the outside - "365 Things we Love about You"

Love these snow globes! And your kiddo could totally customize it by choosing special trinkets that remind him of grandma and grandpa. http://www.kiwicrate.com/projects/Snow-Globes/510

This necklace would be nice for Grandma. I totally wear the one my daughter (age 5) made me all the time and get asked about it everywhere I go! http://www.kiwicrate.com/projects/Domino-Necklace/655
