My niece isn't very "crafty," but I think she would really benefit from arts and crafts projects. Whats the best way to get her interested?

My kiddos love to make their own board games...maybe you could help her make one where some of the spaces you land on require active challenges like doing 1 push=up or 10 jumping jacks..stuff like that. She could decorate the board and glue down small pieces of colored paper to make the spaces.

One thing I thought of is that she loves being active - she loves to run, jump, play games. Maybe there is a project where she can almost "create" her own activities? Then she would enjoy them even more.

Hi there - Thats a great question. It can be hard to get kids to see the value in the crafts if they can't enjoy it afterwards.
How about this? http://www.kiwicrate.com/projects/Indoor-Hopscotch/362
This project would let her create her own hopscotch course. This is a great indoor activity for a little one who loves to jump and run.
Hope she loves it!
