Have you ever ended a road trip and you wonder how your car became a sticker book? I have. So this time I was prepared. In preparation for a long car ride to the beach, I prepared a sticker scene for the backseat window--in hopes that this activity would prevent a collage of stickers to materialize all over the backseat.

I made a beach scene on contact paper to get my kids excited about our family getaway. After the trip, the contact paper peeled right off. This sticker project was a big hit!

How We Did It

This project can be made in any theme you can imagine. I did a beach theme to go along with our trip and I already had some great beach stickers. Win win!

You will need to cut the contact paper to fit in your backseat window. Once you have the correct size, you can tape the paper down to a table top with masking tape. Next, get to work on your masterpiece. (The kids can of course help out with this.) I did it on my own because I wanted it to be a surprise and also something new and exciting once we started our journey.

Once the ink dried, I peeled off the paper and placed it right on the window.

My daughter thought it was great. She had so much fun adding stickers to a scene and not just a window. When our trip was over, the contact paper peeled right off and she was able to place the sticker scene on a piece of paper to save as a special little souvenir from our trip.
