Chocolate-Dipped Reindeer Pretzels
My kids like to ask me about what I did when I was a kid. I love when I can share with them the things of my childhood. So when I told them about chocolate-covered pretzel reindeer, they were so excited to make some for themselves.
What You'll Need
- pretzels (rods and twists)
- chocolate (for melting)
- parchment paper
- cinnamon candies (or other candies for decorating)
How We Did It
Gather your ingredients. If you want a healthier option, you can use a yogurt coating, and raisins or nuts for decoration. Your kids are sure to love them either way.
Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Cook for 30 seconds at a time until melted (but not too hot). Then dip the twists into the chocolate. The kids loved this part too since they got to be a little messy.
Then we dipped the top of the pretzel rods in the chocolate and placed them on top of a set of antlers. We added cut up marshmallows for eyes and a cinnamon candy for a nose. Very Rudolph-like, isn't he?

these would be a terrific project to do during a class party!
