Confetti Cork Board
My children create a lot of art and I love displaying it. Not only because I love what my kids create, but because it gives them pride in what they make and confidence to make more. We're quickly running out of space on the refrigerator but I found an old cork board in the garage. So the kids and I turned it into a piece of art to display art! Lovely, right?
How We Did It
We used acrylic paints for this, but if you would rather not commit to dots all over the kids' clothing, just yet feel free to use a less permanent paint. You will get the same results.
I added the first few dots myself and waited for little eyes to perk up. I love to get my children interested and engaged without saying a word. It shows me they love this just as much as I do.
We had a Q-tip for each color so we kept nice bright colors and didn't end up with any muddy browns.
I left this out, and the kids added dots to the board here and there. Emma stopped by while I was preparing meals. Grayson added some more splashes of color while I was doing dishes.
It went from a few dots to a blanket of beautiful colors.
It was the perfect place to display beautiful art by my little artists.
