You can make so many things out of duct tape. My daughter wanted to try her hand at making a hair bow!

How We Did It

Duct Tape Hair Bow

Begin by choosing 2 colors of duct tape. The color combinations are endless! Roll out about an eight-inch piece and lay it down sticky side up.

Next, fold the strip in half so one side touches the middle and sticks to it and then the other side goes to the middle and sticks to it.

Put that first piece aside and cut another strip in a different color. This strip should be about two inches long.

Cut that two inch strip in half lengthwise. (I helped my daughter with this step, because she's only three!)

Next, fold that strip in half lengthwise but not all the way--leave a little sticky edge. My daughter loved the colors of this rainbow duct tape!

Return to your big piece. Pinch it in the middle and fold it inwards so there are three little creases, accordion-style.

Now, do the same thing to the other side to make it look even. Take your small strip and wrap it around the middle. The sticky edge that you left will adhere to the big piece!

Now, slip a bobby pin in between the two duct tape pieces and place in hair. Enjoy this stylish craft and your stylish kiddo!
