My daughter loves to look at family photos so we decided to make a mini-family tree so that she could see everyone at once and make up some fun stories!
How We Did It
We began by drawing a tree. I helped my three-year-old daughter with this step. I printed out some photos of us on our printer at home and cut them out. Older kids can draw the tree themselves and cut the photos out too!
Next, my daughter glued the back of each photo. She had fun naming everyone as we went along!
We decided to do a mini-family tree with just the people in our house, but older kids can enjoy gluing extended family down onto their tree too!
My daughter thought it was pretty funny to glue her little brother down, but kept saying, "Don't forget him!"
Here we are! After your child is done gluing, he/she can add details to the picture as my daughter did. She decided to add some grass to the bottom.
