Fruity Cone Dessert Buffet
This is a healthy dessert that's fun for kids to put together. They choose their favorite fruits to fill their cones. I also have a sugar-free whipped cream recipe to share with you.
How We Did It
First, we washed our blueberries, golden raspberries, grapes and strawberries and sliced up our watermelon. I made sure that there was at least one kind of fruit that each of my kids would eat. They all have different favorites.
I sliced the strawberries as well, and my son helped to put all the fruit onto a platter.
For whipped cream: add 1 cup heavy cream, 2 tsps. honey and a dash of cinnamon in a mixer and mix on high speed, about 2 minutes or until thickened. Arrange whipped cream and cones on a platter.
We made our dessert for a cookout so we set up our little dessert buffet outside.
The kids added fruit to the cones...
...and some whipped cream.
Dessert is served! Seconds are not only allowed, but encouraged.
