My kids love to get in the kitchen with me and create anything they can feel like they made themselves. Season-your-own oven chips are a favorite!
Start by gathering your ingredients and preheating the oven to 400. I had the kids pick their favorite seasonings. If your kids are unsure, salt and pepper is a great way to start.
Start by slicing the potato. This should be done by an adult or an older child under close supervision.
Using a small cookie cutter, the kids can cut out a fun shape for the chips. We used a small flower and the kids liked cutting out the shapes themselves.
Mix the potato slices with some oil, season them, then spread them out on a baking sheet. Bake them for about 20 minutes, turning them over half way through.
