Line and Design Art
Anyone can create a masterpiece with this sort of art! Start with a simple, drawn shape, add a few creative squiggles and bright colors...
How We Did It
We didn't use paint or markers for coloring because we didn't want running lines or smears. Crayons and pencils do the trick!
First Madeleine drew her picture. She loved contemplating what it would be... finally deciding upon a kittycat.
Then she outlined it with marker.
On a piece of scratch paper, she worked out a few designs she liked.
And started working on her subject. He's fine!
She divided him into lines and designs,
and when he was done, she colored him in, then worked on the background.
Maddie loved this project! How cool to take a usual drawing, and turn it into something completely different!
