Melted Bead Suncatcher
We used these tiny little beads to make pictures to hang in our windows. My children loved doing this and especially loved watching their work melt together to become a beautiful sun catcher.
How We Did It
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees and grease your pan with oil or baking spray.
This was a great evening calm down craft. My kids sat and carefully placed each bead, creating fun pictures. This one was a colorful tree that my daughter was working on for quite awhile.
We made sure the beads were all touching and also tried to create a small hole in the top of each design for twine to fit through. Once this was done, into the oven they went.
I pulled each out after about 10 minutes and when the beads had melted together. My children loved seeing this. While our sun catchers were still warm I quickly peeled each one off the baking pan.
We hung them with a little twine in our windows. They all looked so beautiful when the sun shone on them.
