My children love to help me cook, so no-cook recipes are wonderful when I can find a good one that they love too. This oatmeal is so easy to prepare and to have ready to go all week for those hectic mornings. A bonus is that they have fun preparing it and eating it; healthy choices start now!

What You'll Need

How We Did It

No-Cook Oatmeal

Once you have the basic recipe for this oatmeal down, you can change up the ingredients to however you like. (For example, you could add dry fruit, coconut, honey, or flax seed.)

Emma added our ingredients to the jar. We make several of these at a time on Sunday afternoons. That way we have a healthy breakfast to go all week.
No-Cook Oatmeal
We used almond milk, but any milk will work. Almond gives the oatmeal a nice nutty flavor.

Once all of our ingredients were in each jar it was time to shake them up!!

We popped them in the fridge and in a few hours, we had some yummy oatmeal ready for us.

Sometimes we heat the jars up or add fresh fruit. Each family member has a different oatmeal preference in our house. I like being able to grab a jar and go!

There appears to be oats in the first picture of the "How we did it" section, but oats aren't listed in the ingredients. There's definitely an item missing in the ingredient section as there's more items in the picture than there are ingredients. HELP! Must do this recipe soon!

Ooops! Sorry, Tara. Thanks for catching that. It should be 1/2 cup old fashioned oats. What would oatmeal be with out oats, right? Hehe. Hope you enjoy the recipe. Let me know how it goes.
