What child does not love to paint a rainbow? This is a new twist on a rainbow painting and was a lot of fun for my kids to drag paint around the paper with a kitchen sponge!
How We Did It
We keep a pack of new kitchen sponges in our art supplies to paint and stamp with. They are a lot of fun for the kids to try new ways of painting with.
My daughter first made a rainbow on the sponge with her paints. This could be done in any colors really. The possibilities are endless!
Next, she wiped the sponge across the paper to create a rainbow. She was really excited about the outcome of this project. I don't know what she expected to happen, but when this did-she was all smiles!
