Learn letters and letter sounds while you feed the robot to keep him happy.

How We Did It

Robot Alphabet Cruncher

Fold the ends of a toilet paper tube in and tape them closed.

Draw a robot face on the front of the tube. We even included an on and off button (red and green).

Cut letters from a magazine. The different fonts as well as exposure to capital letters and lowercase letters are great for your child's literacy development!

It's time to feed the robot! Pick a letter. Name the letter, say the letter sound, and feed it to the robot.
Robot Alphabet Cruncher
Feeding the robot is such a fun way to work with letters! Keep the letters in the toilet paper tube to store it. It is the perfect activity to throw in your bag for a road trip or a short wait in the waiting room.

Perfect to teach letters, numbers, colors, and more! Preschoolers are not the only kids who love robots, though; how about using this for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division? Or English on one side/ Spanish on the other? You can store everything inside when not using it, so it fits it a backpack. Could be used all the way up through Jr. High! Wonderful!

My child and I completed Robot Alphabet Cruncher. We cut out sight words to make it more interesting for my 4 year old.
