Storytelling with Stamps
Stamps are an endless source of creativity. They can be used to make cards, create a picture or keep kids busy on a rainy day. For another entertaining option, try this storytelling activity.
How We Did It
Gather your materials. There are lots of ways to tell a story with stamps. You can stamp out a scene and then try to write a silly story to go with it. You can also think of a story ahead of time, write it, and then stamp out scenes.
To make a book for your story, cut out pieces of paper in the shape of a rectangle. Fold the pieces of paper in half.
Line up the folded pieces of paper. Ask a grownup to help you punch holes along the sides and tie the pieces of paper together with ribbon. (Or you can staple them.)
Start stamping! Use markers to add details like grass, people, houses, and more.
