Looking for a party activity that's fun for kids? This project was a huge hit during our Christmas Eve get-together last year. The kiddos loved crumpling up paper, and gluing and giggling together as they worked on these darling handmade gifts.

How We Did It

Tissue Paper Wreath

Here's what you'll need. (During our party, we covered the kids' table with some kraft paper, then gave each of the kiddos their own wreath-making kit.)

Tissue Paper Wreath

Cut or rip the tissue paper into about 4" squares. You'll need about 50 squares to cover a 6" wreath.

Pour some glue into a dish. Tightly crumple a square of tissue paper, dip it partially into the glue, and then stick it on the wreath. Crumple, glue, stick, and repeat!

Tissue Paper Wreath

Glue on some pom-poms to give your wreath some sparkle.

Then tie a ribbon around the wreath, and give it to that special someone. Hope you have a holly jolly good time!
