Watercolor Fish Feet
Activity DesignerMelissa Klinker
These colorful fish are just as unique as snowflakes! They are created out of your little one's footprints & handprints and blended with watercolor crayons to replicate their journey through water.

How We Did It
Next, using your pencil, trace your little one's foot for the body of the fish and the top of their fingers for the fish fins. (V was giggling during this part because it tickled.) Next, trace the fish outline with the fine point marker.
Color in the fish feet using the watercolor crayons. It's also nice to layer the colors -- this makes a more colorful effect once blended with the water. V made sure every inch of her fish was colored in, even adding another layer of color to the fins.
A fish is not complete without an eye or two, so they can see! V squirted some glue where she wanted the eyes to go & placed the eyes on top of each glue dollop (this is wonderful fine motor skill practice).
