Wholesome Breakfast Crepes
Sometimes you just need something fabulous for breakfast. Crepes with favorite trimmings--cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, favorite jam, berries (and maybe even some from the garden!)--are a family favorite around these parts!
How We Did It
After gathering your ingredients...
...measure the ingredients and put them all in the bowl.
Heat up your skillet on medium heat with a dab of butter in it, then pour a bit of batter into your pan. We used a 1/4 cup in our 8 inch skillet.
As soon as you have your batter in, lift your skillet from the stove, and swirl it around so that your batter runs to the edges of the bottom of your skillet. Make sure to get your crepes nice and thin.
Flip it over after a couple of minutes, and cook the other side for a minute or two.
Slide it onto a plate, and add your favorites. Roll it up....
Oh goodness, that's good! Maddie had five this morning.
"Good thing we made it in a big bowl," she said, "or else there wouldn't be enough!"
So make sure you make yours in a big bowl if you've got hungry kids!
