Also, If you don't mind doing a little prep, try cutting thin cardboard into different shapes - candy cane, wreath, snowman, santa hat, christmas tree. Hole punch each one and loop a ribbon through. Then the kids can glue pom poms on the shapes. Some sparkly pom poms like these http://www.amazon.com/CHENILLE-KRAFT-INCH-GLITTER-POMS/dp/B00172UUWS would be fun to mix in too!
