Sneak Peek: Introducing June’s Theme!

We’re so excited to kick off the first month of our Summer Adventure series with this month’s crate theme: Camping! We hope the projects in this crate will inspire you to get outside and explore the wonders of nature and your own imagination.

Kiwi Crate's Camping Trip

With the first project, you’ll paint your very own backpack and personalize it with nature shapes, while learning about the science of evaporation. Observe how, as the paint dries, the fabric beneath the shapes becomes bleached by the sun.

Then, build your own DIY glowing campfire set — and pretend to roast marshmallows and tell campfire stories through the night! Take turns telling stories with your friends or family about adventures you’ve been on, or favorite memories, or even magical places.

Kiwi Crate Camping Trip Magazine
Extend the fun with the explore! magazine, where you’ll learn how to have even more fun in nature. Learn how to cook s’mores indoors, build a chair tent, and make leaf rubbings. You’ll also find instructions on how to make your own water bottle holder to take on a hike, an outdoor scavenger hunt booklet, and all kinds of inspiration for ways to explore the outdoors.

Kiwi Crate Camping Trip Bonus Gift
p.s. Don’t miss the very special bonus gifts we’ve included this month! As a special thank you to our subscribers, you’ll receive a 32-page summer travel journal that includes tons of fun on-the-go games, activities, and stories to provide creative ideas for families all summer. And in addition, we’ve partnered with one of our favorite brands, Nature Box, to provide a special treat to keep you going on your outdoor adventures!

One thought, it would be so great to get the titles of the books ahead of time so i can check them out the library or place holds, that way they will be ready when the crate arrives

I completely agree! The names of the books ahead of time to reserve so ready for the unit:)

I triple what both Michells’s said above! It would be great to have the reading list in advance!
